After GREEN, Auto Movement Timing can start the clock from mounted-device vehicle movement using GPS speed and device motion. Racer Vision can supply the real light-change state. The software detects timing only and never launches or operates the vehicle.

Event Operations

Create tracks, events, categories, rule profiles, teams and tournaments from WP Admin. Hosts with an API key can also create and publish their own rule profiles through the secure Host API. Host servers can push verified timeslips, points and rankings.

Hardware-ready: a future Hardware Bridge can connect authorized starting lights, lane sensors and timing equipment to Carrito.net. Hardware control must use fail-safe venue equipment and a human Race Control operator; the web app does not actuate a vehicle.

Racer Vision recognizes configured venue light changes locally and can arm movement-based timing after GREEN. Camera frames stay on the device. Browser timing remains estimated until an authorized timing source verifies the result.

Manual first lap can establish the start/finish GPS point. Auto Lap then watches future returns to that geofence after the car leaves it and the minimum lap time is met. This is an estimated browser/GPS tool until connected to host timing. Pro-circuit telemetry uses generic motorsport concepts and no series branding.

Rules engine: Carrito.net ships generic drag references based on common track practice without claiming affiliation with any sanctioning body. Host rule profiles can define local classes, distances, staging, dial-ins, breakout/foul priority, heads-up, bracket, no-prep/flashlight-style starts, lane/centerline rules, burnouts, points, equipment and safety notices. Circuit profiles can define practice, qualifying, sprint, endurance, grid, pit-lane, flag/light states, sectors, penalties, safety-car/neutralization concepts and team procedures. Venue officials and the event current rules always control.
